Trump isn't ending the war: he's shredding US credibility

Over the past week it has been nauseating to watch this American president — a disgrace to his office — use every trick in the book to help his Kremlin partners.

Has there ever been a more sickening image of a US leader than this — where Trump heartily applauds a fascist leader’s double arriving on US soil? Alaska was the nadir of diplomacy. It was Trump’s full submission to the Kremlin, picking up where he had left off in Helsinki in 2018, when he rejected Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election – because Moscow’s spies said so.
